Bio
Aimee Baldridge is a content developer, author, editor, and writer based in New York. She has been covering the craft and technology of image creation since she emerged from her chemical darkroom at the turn of the century to specialize in digital imaging as a senior editor at CNET Networks. Aimee is the author of two books published by National Geographic, Organize Your Digital Life and The Camera Phone Book; a former editor of Pop Photo College Edition magazine; and the current editor of MAC-On-Campus, a site for photography students and educators. As a writer, Aimee covers the world of digital media, photography, and consumer technology for enthusiast publications such as Popular Photography & Imaging, Popular Science, and American Photo, and also enjoys translating tech lingo into plain English for consumer publications like Techlicious, Glamour, and Budget Travel. Aimee’s focus on content related to image making grows out of her personal interest and work in visual media. Her expertise has been called upon in numerous interviews with major media outlets, including USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, CBS, BBC World News, NY1, and CNN.
